Riders to the Sea

Has anyone out there seen ENO's new Riders to the Sea? I though it was very poor, notwithstanding the excellent Sibelius addition, but much of the reviews seem to contradict my reaction (www.musicalcriticism.com/opera/eno-riders-1108.shtml). Any thoughts? I'm aware it is a very sensitive subject considering the very sad death of Richard Hickox last week, he was after all due to conduct the production as you're all probably aware, but I tried to react as neutrally as I could to the actual performance.
