Hi I would be very interested in knowing if anybody has purchased the new recording by Renee Fleming of the Four Last Songs and what their views are. Being a huge fan of hers, and having seen her perform it at the Proms I would love to purchase it but am unsure due to mixed reviews. Plus I own 2 superb but different interpretations by funnily enough Finland's most famous sopranos, Karita Mattila and Soile Isokoski.

Looking forward to the feedback.

Presumably you saw my review of it? I must say, I liked it very much, but my favourite remains Kiri Te Kanawa's account with Sir Georg Solti.

Have to confess, I saw Soile Isokoski do it at the Proms and was vastly disappointed.
