I must say that for me, Pagliacci was vastly superior to Cavalleria rusticana.
I'm suprised that a couple of the newspapers have given it 3 stars but not really stated the noticeable difference in quality between the two.
It'll be interesting to see the revival of Barber of Seville tonight!
