Handel's Partenope Empty Partenope at the Coli

Hi going to see it on Saturday so will post a review amd my comments next week. Love anything by Handel, and I adore Rosemary Joshua (remember Semele?) and Christine Rice who was superb in the last Handel offering at the Coli Agrippina.

Keep and eye on my review. Smile

What did you think?

I was surprised to see such raves in the Sunday Times and Sunday Telegraph yesterday. There are aspects of it that people might have liked more than I did, but I can't understand unqualified praise.
